CONECTA

And then…

The lab becomes an incubator for transgressive projects. We enhance “The Impossibles” and stand by their side so that they become a fact that transforms reality. And so new SHAKERS are born!

New LAB in Espluga de Francolí

This program accompanied people between 18 and 30 years old to live an immersive experience during 4 weekends in the months of October and November 2021.

With the collaboration of internationally renowned artists and SHAKERS, the participants experienced the different artistic disciplines in and around Espluga de Francolí.

These creators accompanied the group in the realization of an artistic proposal to achieve changes in the territory.

New open classroom of Urban Recipes with Santiago Cirugeda, social architect

Within the right that citizens have to participate in political life, protected even by various regional laws on participation and in some regulations of public-social co-management, we will share some experiences where architectural practice has been able to develop projects in collaboration with citizens and social agents.

This is the case, for example, of the social-community center of Cañada Real, where the tender was declared unsuccessful twice and finally Recetas Urbanas managed to build the center with 1,200 collaborators in just five months. Or the improvement of the educational and relationship spaces of the Trabenco El Pozo School, where it is currently intervening with the academic community, the AMPA and all girls and boys from five to eighteen years old.

Is it possible for citizens to build their own facilities? How can we all intervene in common public spaces?
